Wet Plate Collodion 5x7 Tank w/ Insert and Dipper
For your consideration: This is a new handmade Wet Plate Collodion 5x7 tank with insert and dipper. The tank can be used for developing or fixing your plates after exposure. The insert is made of PVC-FF and will hold up to the chemicals used in wet plate photography. The insert is removable for cleaning and has been checked to insure that there are no leaks. The dipper is used to agitate and hold the glass plate during processing. The outer tank is made of pine, and painted with black oil-based paint. Vintage wet plate tanks were painted black as well. The lid is double hinged and has a draw catch on the front to keep the lid secure while your plates are being processed. The tank can be inclined back; a hinged bracket holds the tank secure. The tank is handmade in America. Because the tank is not assembly-line produced, no two are alike. The tank external measurements are  approximately 9-1/2" x 6" x 2" (including rear stand).
