Nikor 4x5 inch Developing Tank.
This is not a rare item, but a unique piece of darkroom equipment. It's a Nikor 4x5 inch sheet film developing tank. It takes up to 12 sheets of film. What makes it unique is the feature that the user can adjust the tank to accommodate cut film from 4x5 to 2 x 5 inches. If you're into large format photography, cut film developing or you make your own custom-built cameras, this will be of use to you.
I used it to develop 4x5 film years ago, but I no longer shoot large format film.
The tank is in excellent condition. There are no stains or abrasions on the tank or the reel. It's complete with the small fill cap matched to the cover. It holds 1 liter of liquid. I used to fill the tank with developer, load the reel in total darkness, drop the reel into the tank and put the cover on, and start the timer. If you want to develop as a fill & dump, it takes about 10-15 seconds to fill & pour out.
