    Description

    Here is an Eastman Kodak "Maskit" Printing frame for negatives up to 3 1/4" x 5 1/2". The wooden frame is solid, the glue joints are holding strong. The glass is clean, and scratch free. The felt shows some stains, but is still soft and usable. The hold down clamps have surface rust, and could be cleaned up if desired. The center hinge is also rusty, but is still movable. It comes with it's original box. The cardboard is extremely fragile. One end of the box is missing. This is an original piece of Kodak history, but could still be used to produce contact prints with the proper mask.
    It also comes with a very worn out Kodaloid Printing mask. The paper sleeve is extremely fragile and is disintegrating. The mask inside had split in three places and was taped together.  I don't think this could be used, but I'm including it as it could be an interesting display piece.
