When I first decided to make 8x10 tintypes, instead of buying a silver tank, I decided to make one. Now the camera is gone, the tank can find a new home too. It works fine! I just tested it for leaks, and there were none. The red plastic was cut by Canal Plastics in NYC. Inside dimensions are 3 /4” x 11 7/8” x 13”. There’s a big clear plastic dipper with drain notches in the bottom. Pictures tell the story!
